Track season has officially begun! I can't believe that the school year has come to this point.......it's 4th quarter!
With this comes Track and Field and Taylir is participating once again this year, only this year she is competing with the High School instead of the Jr. High. Being that she is a 9th grader she had the option of being on either team and when she went to the High School tryouts, she made the team! She is participating in the 400 and also the high jump. The high jump is her favorite and she does really well at it. So far, her record is 5'0. Last weekend she was the only girl from her school to participate in an 8-school meet and she tied for 5th place. I think this was still a huge thing for her since the majority of the girls she was competing against were Seniors and this was her first year competing at this level. Imagine the progress she will make by the time she is a Senior!

Life is going to get crazy for us again now that track has begun and baseball too. Taylir has 2 track meets usually per week and baseball is usually 2 days a week too. Oh well, it's been a great relaxing winter and we're ready for the spring sports to begin.....BRING IT ON!

This will be our first year with track, It should be fun!
Good job, Taylir! This is our favorite time of year. We haven't had any meets yet, just practice...lots of running in the rain!
Looks like you will be busy for awhile! Ben is doing T-ball and art class right now...I don't know if I will be able to keep up with all 3 when they are older and going all different directions!
Wishing you all luck with the new track season :)
