Taylir is that awesome age where she will tell me she is going to "absolutely die" because I posted all these pictures of her on our blog. Isn't she a cutie???!!!! She is such a perfect daughter and such a joy to have around. She is super busy these days and such an over-achiever. Yesterday her cross country team took first place at STATE!!!!! Both the boys and the girls team placed first. Besides cross country, she is still taking violin lessons and playing in the orchestra at school. In her little spare time she is usually with her friends and doing the typical teenage girl stuff. (BTW, her bedroom cleaning skills are improving!)
Ooh my word Lel I can't believe she is 16 already! Wow she looks so diff now than I remember her by! She is adorable and sounds like she is doing great and enjoying life!! Love ya
On June 1, 2002 we became a new family. Mark and his 6 children; Brandt, Kortney, Tavyn and Tyson (twins), Taylir and Colton, joined with Lezlie and her 2 children; Kylie and Carson. In 2008 we became grandparents with the arrival of Will to proud daddy Brandt. We also have 4 more people who we consider to be family; Doug, Kristi, Daxton and Jett. Doug is Lezlie's former husband with his wife and boys. We feel we are one big family and are fortunate that our kids have two sets of parents that love and care for them. We have a very unique family situation and get a lot of positive comments about our uniqueness. There aren't too many families out there like ours and we feel extremely blessed.
Meet the "Good Gomer" and "Lel", the heads of the family. We were married in the Mt. Timpanogos Temple on June 1, 2002. We truly are best friends and love being with each other. We enjoy traveling, the Oregon Coast, going out to dinner, being with friends and family and just being home. We may have experienced some bumps and sorrows in our individual journeys before meeting, but those trials have only made us stronger and molded us into the people we are today. Five of our eight children have left home and are experiencing life on their own. We now have the younger three left and and can't believe everyone finally has their own bedroom!! We love all of our children and look forward to experiencing whatever life throws our way and watching our family grow.
